Parent, Liam McCauley, and experience hiker and local tour guide, organised a trip for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th class up Slieve Foy on Thursday 19th June 2014. The pupils, along with their teachers, helpers and Fr Murphy started their climb at 10 am and returned at 3pm. It was an enjoyable day, coupled with the beautiful weather and we got some stunning views of the surrounding area.
