Garda Visit

The pupils of Senior and Junior infants were treated to a visit by local Gardai where they saw a Traffic patrol car, met local gardai and got to see gardai equipment at close hand. Garda Adrian Donohoe, a parent in the school, explained to the children how the Gardaí help people in our community and taught the children how to act sensibly when crossing the road. In Bellurgan National School we are eager to involve people from our local community in the education of our pupils. So if you know any nurses, doctors, council workers, firemen, etc. who would like to visit our school please let us know!! And remember the Safe Cross Code!
