On Tuesday 16th June 2015, Gary McBride, a parent in Bellurgan N.S as well as a local Driving Instructor, came into the school to speak to the fifth and sixth class pupils about Road Safety. Gary, with the aid of a PowerPoint Presentation which included short videos, stressed to the pupils about the importance of their safety as a pedestrian and a cyclist. In preparation for Secondary School, pupils also learned about how to behave and keep safe on a school bus. The pupils found the workshop very informative and would like to thank Gary for coming in to speak to them.
