On Monday 12th September we were delighted to welcome the Lory Meagher Cup into the school. It was brought in by teacher Mr Stephen Rafferty who was part of the successful Louth Hurling team who secured the All Ireland title back in June of this year. Mr Rafferty, Rang 3 & 4 teacher, spoke to the school who gathered in the hall about the win and took a number of questions from our pupils. Each class had an opportunity to have their picture taken with the cup.
Once again we would like to congratulate Mr Rafferty and the Louth Hurling panel on their fantastic achievement.
