Pupils, staff and friends of the school gathered in our school hall on Wednesday 25th Junes to show our respect and love for a very special person who has touched all of their lives during her time here in Bellurgan National School. Kitty Ballantine retires at the end of this month after being part of our school community since 1974, a sparkling career which spanned just over an amazing forty years.
This school has always been immaculate under Kitty’s watch and she was an important member of our school staff. Mr McCoy, praised her loyality, reliability and dedication to ensuring that our classrooms were kept in pristine condition which helped make our school a good place to be and created a lovely learning environment for our pupils past and present who have passed through the school’s doors.
We wish Kitty many years of happiness and good health in her retirement.
