On behalf of the staff, it is truly my pleasure to extend a warm and heartfelt welcome back to you all as we begin the 2018-2019 school year at Bellurgan National School. Our school day starts at 9.20am and we encourage our pupils to arrive after 9.00am. Please note that there will be no supervision provided before 9.00am and the school building will not be open. The start of a new school year is the time of year to reconnect with old friends and welcome new friends. To those children and parents who are new to Bellurgan National School we extend an especially warm welcome and best wishes for an exciting and productive year in your new school. We hope that you will quickly feel at home and become involved in the activities of our school. I would like to welcome Miss Bronagh Duffy to our teaching staff and we look forward to working alongside her. It has been an extremely busy summer with the upgrade of our heating system. Work is still ongoing for a short period of time at the rear of the school as it nears completion.
We now have enrollment forms for each year up to 2022. Anyone who wishes to register their child should do so without delay and you can pick up an enrollment form from Rachel our school secretary. We encourage you to pass on this information to relatives, friends and neighbours who do not currently have children at Bellurgan N.S.
